Basic Review Of Nokia C6

nokia c6
The Nokia C6 continues the successful C series, and also comes close to the attributes of the Nokia N97, but it is more affordable. Go on reading this Nokia C6 review to get the bigger picture.

When compared to the older model - Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, you will see a stunning resemblance to the C6. This reveals that whatever Nokia may have done, it was most likely internal rather than the surface design.

The C6 has a 3.2 inch touchscreen, that spans almost the complete frontal part of the phone. This is a 360x640  resistive display that brings good response, but of course not as good as capacitive displays. There are 3 physical keys under the display and also a secondary cameraplus a light sensor above. The bottom side holds a small charger port, while the top comes with the microUSB port and audio jack. On the left there is the slot for the microSD card, that has 2GB installed and can hold a maximum of 16GB in total.

The top of the C6 slides to the right side releasing the full QWERTY keyboard, that has 4 rows and a D-pad next to it. The 4 rows on the C6 are more comfortable than the 3 rows one found on the N97, and thus means less use of function keys for you. The 4-row keyboard is also the phone's biggest step forward from the 5800 model, delivering generous finger space in typing.

The main camera has a lens placed at the back of the phone, next to the LED flash. Since the lens is not protected, you have to pay attention to keep the lens intact.

The battery (BL-4J) holds 1200mAh. It lasts up to 384 hours on standby, a talk time of 7 hours or 5 hours in 3G. It can also give 30 hours playing mp3's before a recharge. The C6 cannot be charged with regular USB, so you will need to have its charger.

The Nokia C6 also has  Wi-Fi connectivity; VGA@30fps video recording; 3.6Mbps HSDPA support; A-GPS and free voice-guided navigation license; Kinetic scroll.

We trust this brief Nokia C6 review has been sufficient to help you decide regarding your next smartphone.
